  1. Hi Carl,

    Thank you for showing us many fancy Python logos. Very pretty.

  2. Carl:

    I can see you remain true to your mining instincts and experience. This is a magnificent collection. Would you have time to serve on the PSF Trademarks committee?

  3. @Nam,
    Hey, Nam. Thanks. It was no trouble; this was actually fun.

    @Steve
    I'm flattered, but IANAL. The short answer is yes. Can I get with you at Pycon in person for about 15 minutes and get duties, points of contact, and references? Not a PSF member, just a volunteer; hope that's not a problem.

  4. Just clarification - http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_27GcakEGOHc/S1qRRX6dgxI/AAAAAAAAAGc/G2Fosely_38/s320/russianpycamp.png - is not the russian. Camp will take place in Ukraine.

    Sorry about that. For some reason the google blog search brings it up under the Russian language.
    In any case, cool logo - reminiscent of drag racing here in the States.

    Thanks! Man, this has been a kick in the pants (a good thing). I was worried I'd get in trouble for putting this on the Planet because it wasn't a real blog. I've really enjoyed this. Thanks for the contribution.

  8. We had a couple of more Pythonic logos when we were brainstorming for PyCon India. None of the really saw the light of day but they're here http://wiki.python.org/moin/PyConIndiaLogos

  11. @Noufal - thanks for the pointer; I've posted them at http://pyright.blogspot.com/2010/01/python-logos-iii-pycon-india-2009.html

    @Tim - thank you. Actually I've been corrected on that Russian one - it's actually a Ukranian camp in Kiev.
    Can't believe I heard from the actual artist - it's like a rock star thanking a fan for a collage of pictures.
    Thank you for the logo. It's very professional and can easily be dressed up for more festive occasions.
